Installing on macOS

The macOS build is signed and notarized by Apple, so installing is the usual two steps — drag to Applications, then confirm the first launch. The clip below shows the whole flow, start to finish.

Install & first launch

Drag Block Designer into Applications, then launch it from there.

Step by step:

  1. Download the .dmg and double-click it to open.
  2. Drag Block Designer onto the Applications folder.
  3. Open Applications and launch Block Designer.
  4. On first launch macOS asks you to confirm the app was downloaded from the internet — click Open.
Tip: launch the app from your Applications folder, not from inside the mounted DMG — then you can eject the disk image.
